Experimenting with lashes can be fun and exciting. I love wearing fake eyelashes because they really command attention. My eyes just pop and become full of life. I decided to test out a couple different pairs and see how brands differ from one another. I listed the pros and cons of each set so that you can decide which ones will look best on you.
Laura Mercier Corner Faux Lashes Pro: The positives of these lashes are the size and quickness it takes to apply. I love that they look natural and have subtle shapes. The winged-out ends add a lot of style. They also come with eyelash glue.
Con: The price of greatness is not cheap. These run about $18 a pair!
Ardell Natural Lashes Pro: These full lashes offer a variety of lengths that make it easy to blend into your natural lashes.
Con: These are priced under $5 for a set and are easy to find. There aren’t any real cons, but not too much stands out about these either.
MAC 7 Lash Eyelashes Pro: Get a really dramatic look that can help you make an instant statement.
Con: MAC 7 lashes don’t look very natural, so they are good for a girl’s night out, but not much else.
Ardell Individual Lashes Pro: These lashes look like a natural extension and simply add a couple of extra hairs. This can make a huge difference in appearance while looking natural.
Con: Individual lashes take time and practice to put on perfectly. 10 lashes can easily take 5 minutes.
Kiss True Volume Lashes Pro: One thing that I really love about the Kiss True Volume Lashes is the tapered ends. This makes the eyelashes really easy to blend together. You can create a truly unique look and make a major statement without putting too much effort into it.
Con: The lashes themselves are very dense and colored black. This can make it difficult to match the lashes to fairer tones. Blondes, for example, would need a much lighter color if they want to look natural. They are also a bit on the wide side, so you may need to cut them to get your ideal look for your next big event.
