Rejection Who hasn’t dealt with rejection at some point in time or another? Being rejected is never fun. Everyone goes through some type of event that leaves them broken and ashamed. There are events that leave you anxious and torn.
Those events will cause you to feel angry, fearful and lost. They end up changing you for the worse.
How many times have you let rejection set in and take over your life? Some people harbor resentment over rejections that happened 20-30 years ago.
Some people simply cannot move past the events of the past and start focusing on the future. It’s about time you start focusing on the present and making goals for the future.
Reflection What caused this event to happen? Have you actually sat back and tried to answer that question on a deeper level than just what lies on the surface?
Why did this event have to happen to you? Life is filled with tools. Each step you take will provide you with different tools to help you move on to the next step in life. If you look back at all of the things in life that made you happy and brought a smile to your face, you will be able to move past the rejection. As a master of fact, you will probably be happy that you went through rejection.
Imagine spending all of your time with someone that you never get along with. What about working at the company that laid you off? How about trying to live in the same home as someone who constantly argued with you or caused you stress? No one could. Stop sitting there and dealing with rejection. Begin reflecting on the things that happened and why they did to start moving on with your life.
Redirection Your life is trying to redirect you toward a higher calling. Instead of viewing rejection as an end, view it as a way to redirect your purpose.
Look inside yourself and reflect on the things that you have gone through and the direction they are now taking you. Redirecting your energy toward something bigger and better will help take you out of the world you are in now and into something bigger and more exciting than you can imagine.
