You don't like going to the doctor? Here are some simple tests you can do at home, in your comfort, with almost no cost and definitely with no complicated equipment!
Put your palm over your left eye. Look at a door frame across the room for 30 seconds then switch. If you can see the frames: vertical, horizontal and parallel lines all is good. If the edges don't appear as they should, attention! You might have macular degeneration, and it can lead to blindess if you're over 50.
Brush a spoon along the top of your tongue. Put the spoon in plastic bag, seal it and place it under a bright lamp for one minute. Sniff the spoon. If you sense an unpleasant smell or see a thick coloured coat, this indicates problems with respiratory system, liver, kidneys, hormones or stomach!
You want to know if you have blocked arteries or if the risk of having heart diseases is to be considered? Do this test! Lie on your bed, elevate your legs to a 45-degree angle. Hold both legs for one minute, then release them quickly over the bed's side at 90 degrees. If you see your feet very pale when held up or very red when hanging, this means you should check your arteries and heart.
