You don’t have to taste all the food in that Christmas buffet. If you know you don’t like it, don’t eat it. If you feel full, stop eating.
Don’t skip meals
You might think that skipping meals is a way to save calories but this will actually make you eat more at the party. Make sure you eat healthy food throughout the day to enjoy the party at night.
Watch the alcohol
We’re not saying you should cut off all alcoholic beverages but at least alternate between the different beverages. For example drink a cup or two of water every time you drink wine.
When you arrive at the dinner party drink water. This will stop you form overeating when it’s time to have dinner.
Holidays are not about the food we eat. It’s about family, friends and joy. Instead of getting excitement from delicious food, focus on your social interactions and have fun. You will forget to eat!
