At one point in time or another, you have probably lost your faith in the world around you. Everyone has. It can be a cruel and unusual place sometimes. However, there are plenty of good and decent people who are still out there and willing to do whatever they can to help a stranger in need. Just because you might not see it all the time, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Check out some of these random acts of kindness to help you restore your faith and know that there are plenty of decent human beings out there who are still willing to go the extra mile for someone they don’t know.
1. The generous tipper.
Imagine getting a tip so large that you could do everything that you had been dreaming about over the years. Whether it be take a trip, repair something around the house or just get new clothes to replace yours with holes, there are people who might be more than happy to help. Take it from some of the people out there who received a substantial tip working as a waitress or waiter and doing nothing more than their jobs. People do listen when you talk and go out of their way to help when they can.
2. The pay-it-forward scheme.
How about going to get in your vehicle after a long day at work to find a note that said they noticed you needed new tires for your vehicle and went ahead and bought them for you? All you have to do is head to the tire center and ask for a certain employee to get them put on your ride. Talk about a nice surprise. The only catch is that you need to pay the act of kindness on to someone else. Not such a bad catch, is it?
3. Paramedics who go above and beyond the call of duty.
There is a story about an elderly individual who was outside shoveling their driveway in winter when they had a heart attack. Not only did the paramedics hurry up and get him to the hospital to make sure he was okay, but they ended up coming back to the house and finished shoveling the driveway for him.
